
Based on our research there are social determinants caused by teenage pregnancy which are high unemployment, low education and low income. These determinants can cause young parents to struggle with parenting and life skills, cognitive development and being self sufficient. All of these factors constitute a public health issue. As a result, additional expenses exist at local, state and federal levels. As a community organization we seek to prevent these health disparities by launching a list of programs beginning year 2023.
